Is self-FOMO a thing? Because whenever I've been getting those "memories from X years ago" notifications on my phone, I have major fomo of the stuff my past-self was doing. Anyone else??? 🤔 On this day last year, my best friend and I did face masks and went out for sushi. Then, still hyped from my fun day, I made up this blueberry cake bar recipe at 1 a.m. While I can't relive the day spent with my bestie today (🥺💔), I sure can remake that delicious blueberry cake. Luckily, the ingredients are minimal, too! Recipe: • 1/2 cup almond flour • 4 scoops @furtherfood collagen (10% off: LIVVYDUCK10) • 1 tsp baking soda • 2 tsp cinnamon • 2 eggs • 2 tbsp softened coconut butter • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey • 1 tsp vanilla • a few handfuls of fresh bloobs Mix dry ingredients well. Whisk in eggs, then add coconut butter, syrup, and vanilla. Fold in blueberries last. Pour batter into a baking pan (alternately you could bake into muffins too, I just didn't have liners.) Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean without too much "goop". Cool completely before slicing. Enjoy and tag me in your remakes! 💙

Is it just me or do you eat a lot more when you’re at home? Unconscious walk-bye’s the kitchen for another cookie 🍪, 3 slices of “snack cheese 🧀 “ every 15 minutes? Yeah. It happens to the best of us. . . Despite my cool little rhyme in the pic, I’m actually not against snacking, I do it all the time. However, I notice that snacking can be a big hang up for some because they don’t do it well and they don’t check in with their hunger cues before doing so. . . Tips to snack well: 1. Ask yourself if you’re hungry before even looking in the fridge. 2. Treat snacks as mini meals- make them balanced with at least two macronutrients (carb, fat, and protein). 3. If you’re just bored, find something else to do. 4. Before snacking, reflect on what you’ve had earlier, plan a snack that makes up for what you’re lacking in intake for that day. 5. Choose Whole Foods to snack on. Snacks don’t have to Come from packages. As if shower is to cleanse the body, and meditation is to cleanse our mind, soul and spirit. ⠀ Wash off the old thoughts & emotions from the past, freshen up to recreate the future by simply tuning in to a higher frequency and brainwave, nurturing the body and mind with positive energies and intentions, entering into the quantum field, being aware of the new possibilities, and attracting the new possibilities to your new reality. ⠀ Do you remember how much you hated brushing teeth when you were young? I certainly did. (LOL) ⠀ Not surprising, I paid my price for not brushing my teeth. I had really painful (and expensive) experience with tooth decay and root canal. ⠀⠀ Then realized and learned the importance of brushing my teeth. Now I really take my time to brush and floss, and my teeth are so healthy and rarely have any cases of decay. ⠀ Meditation is the second thing I learned I should do daily and consistently, after a horrifying experience with anxiety disorder and depression. ⠀ Stress and challenges in live are inevitable. Fear them not, because we can actually brush them off by meditating. ⠀ Now I cannot start my day without meditating. Just as if I cannot start my day right without brushing my teeth. Usually when I get stressed I’ll start to get into unhealthy habits like drinking wine, then eating bad food.⁣ ⁣ It’s a hard pattern to break out of. ⁣ ⁣ On top of Covid 19, I continued to fly putting my own health at risk. My anxiety was through the roof, but it didn’t stop there. I got in a car accident, and an unimaginable thing, my mom was diagnosed with Brain cancer and had a major surgery. ⁣ ⁣ Mentally and physically I’ve been trying to process what the hell happened in March!!⁣ ⁣ Even through the toughest 30 days of my life, when I wanted to drink wine and eat pizza Arbonne kept me focused on keeping myself healthy and constantly choosing the healthier option. ⁣ ⁣ Our health is so important right now! We need it to to get us through this stressful time so we can be happier and healthier on the other side. ⁣ ⁣ I’m focused on being healthy and keeping my energy up, so that I can get back to Florida and be with my mom and family. ⁣ ⁣ Today is my 30th day!! I’m down 10 pounds, and I’m committing to another 30 days of Healthy Living. ⁣ ⁣ Please stay healthy, stay home, stay strong!
