We had a little bit of a scare yesterday. I had some concerning pain Friday that ended up going away after a few hours. Yesterday it started again around 3pm, we decided to still go to our church’s evening service (because thank you, Jesus we are finally ALLOWED to) but ended up leaving halfway through the service to make a dash to the emergency room. • He’s my calm • He’s my steady • He’s my strong hand driving mock nine to get us there while still holding my hand the entire time • He’s the calm voice making calls even though he’s filled with his own worry. • He’s my protector. • He’s a gentleman • He’s all the things you hope your own daughter ends up with.
And not that I ever doubt it, but in moments like yesterday I see more clearly, he loves me with a fierceness I’m not sure I deserve.
The baby is just fine 🙌. I was dehydrated which was causing small contractions and have an infection causing all the other pain (I had noooo idea UTIs got that painful.) There’s a lot of anxiety that comes along with thinking you may be going into preterm labor at 25 weeks. I’m so thankful for all the people who prayed for us last night, made arrangements at the hospital as we were coming in, and for my family who took care of our kids!
Ohhh and he buys me food at 1am - such a keeper. ❤️ Yes, the doctors gave me a prescription. Yes, we’re having it filled as a back up. No, I’m not taking it unless I have to. Yes, I’ll be posting what I’m using to support my body so that it can heal itself using Young Living. Stay tuned. ❤️🤗 #pregnancynumber4 #goodhusband #marriage #mybestfriend #thankful #chivalryisnotdead #loverofmylife #healthandwellness #naturalapproach #holistichealth #youngliving
